Here are Junes "Out of Town" Stats. The map below gives you an idea of some of the communities these stats are taken from.
As you can see out of town listings are actually a little bit ahead of where they have been in the previous years. The monthly listing numbers are about par for the course and we should see a decline begin in late August. Part of the reason for this decline is when people move into or out of town their kids have to switch schools which is a major reason the out of town sales peak in the summer and decline during the school year.
The past few months have been the strongest months that the Saskatoon area has seen in a few years as far as number of sales per month go. Overall sales are also ahead from the past few years. The higher numbers can partially be credited too the development going on in Warman and Martensville.
The average selling price for out of town homes is sitting very steady as it has the past few years. It is quite possibly the highest average the out of town market has ever seen.
