Candy Spelling has sold the L.A. mansion built by her late husband, legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling. According to the Wall Street Journal, the sprawling, 57,000-square foot home had a list price of $150 million, although the final sales price was not disclosed.

Candy, 65, and Aaron bought the property in the early 1980s and tore down the existing house on the property. In its place, they built the French chateau-style home in 1991. Tori Spelling, 38, lived in the residence until age 19. The home has a double staircase inspired by Gone with the Wind. There's also a flower-cutting room, a china room and a "Prince Charles Suite," named after the one-time royal guest.

The buyer, Petra Ecclestone, is a 22-year-old Croatian-English racing heiress. (Her father is Formula One racing boss, Bernard Ecclestone.) Petra will split her time between London and Los Angeles after her upcoming August wedding to entrepreneur James Stunt. Her London home is a six-story house in the Chelsea neighborhood that was purchased for $90.9 million.
